Role: Data Governance Advisor

Location: Mississauga

Duration: Contract for 1 year

We are looking for a Data Governance Advisor for Manufacturing data, who will join us in the journey to become a data driven organization. You will be one of the key players contributing to the future of Data Governance and driving the Data Stewardship model to support Roche Pharma\xe2\x80\x99s Technical Operations.

The DG Advisor for Manufacturing data domain will be joining PT Data Office, working together with DG Advisors supporting other PT data domains and will be a key member of the organization driving Data Governance and Data Management best practices.

You will operate in close collaboration with various data stakeholders across PT, Informatics, PTE DDB (Digital Data Backbone) and other organizations, as this role will focus on enabling Manufacturing Data Domain . An important part of this work is striking a balance between being an expert in various data related topics and being an influential voice in the PT network who is capable of guiding organization and project leaders.

You will enable various aspects of the Data Governance, Data Management and Analytics, including but not limited to

Guiding the community of data professionals in PT Manufacturing organization worldwide in data best practices

Enabling a process for establishing, endorsing and enforcing data standards

Supporting the PT organization in data management, data quality, and other related activities that contribute to becoming a data driven organization.

The position comprises of the following responsibilities:

Leading Data focused initiatives, coordinating the effort with key stakeholders while ensuring alignment with overall Data Strategy

Driving the application of data governance strategy and concepts through project implementation and promotion of data driven mindset and behaviors

Supporting and Enabling Data Stewardship efforts across the organization

Representing PT in cross functional teams establishing common master data governance processes, content, tools, and identify areas for improvement

Building Data Culture across organization through education and communication efforts

Promoting Data Driven mindset across organization through different communication channels (i.e. training, events)

Participate in building solutions to complex and unique challenges in the space of tools, workflow, data quality, data standards & definitions, and global community management

Make or influence decisions that have a significant impact on the entire Pharmaceutical Technical Operations organization

The following skills and competencies are needed in this role:

Bachelor\'s degree in Information Management, Computer Science preferred, and at least 5-7 years of experience in Data Management space in different capacities

Experience in implementing Data Governance, Master Data Management, Data Quality and Data Stewardship initiatives.

Experience with supporting Learning, Change Management and Communication

Proven track record of leading or playing a key role in significant projects that have reshaped process and/or organizations

Excellent leadership skills and experience leading matrixed teams

Knowledge of Pharmaceutical industry is a strong asset

Experience with Collibra is strongly asset

Knowledge of Information Architecture, Data Modeling, Reporting and Analytical concept is an asset

This position is not eligible for relocation support.
