We are looking for a Data Governance Specialist, who will join PT Data Office us in the journey to become a data driven organization. You will be one of the key players contributing to bringing data best practices in Global Pharma Technical Operations in Roche and enabling the organization to get access to the good quality data and get the most value from the data.
The role of the Data Governance Specialist is key to making our organization to become a data driven organization and getting the most value out of the data. Data Governance Specialist will be key resource to focusing on the following areas:
Develop and strengthen DG related capabilities,
Data Project Support and Data Issue Management
Data Culture and Literacy (through various existing and new channels)
Responsibilities:
Data Governance Specialist will work alongside with Data Governance Advisor as well as other technical and business stakeholders to to drive effective data related activities
Will understand trends, identify issues and opportunities and recommend action to management
Lead, motivate and build positive working relationships with business and technical partners; continually improve professional expertise, knowledge transfer and be a brand ambassador for data stewardship and your Data Domain
Enhance data literacy, providing education and support to the domain user community
The following activities represent immediate focus for Data Governance Specialist:
1) Contribute to Developing and strengthening DG Capabilities
As part of the prioritization process the following capabilities have been identified as main priorities for DG Capabilities this year:
Data Flow capability
Analytics and Data Mesh support
Cross Data Domain alignment & roadmap
Continue building Data Community of Practice

2)Maturing and Scaling up Issue Management process
3)Driving approaches in data-heavy projects
4)Contributing to Data Culture and Literacy program (through various existing and new channels)
Contributing and further developing Data Citizenship program
Strengthening Data Community of Practice
Contributing to existing and building new channels for Data Culture and Literacy (i.e. Monthly Newsletters, Monthly Data Stewardship working sessions, etc.)
Building training programs for Data Citizens
Requirements
University degree (preferable) of college diploma or in the field of information management/ computer science (or related , and/or 2-3 years equivalent work experience.
Experience in implementing Data Governance, Master Data Management, Data Quality and Data Stewardship initiatives.
Experience with supporting Learning, Change Management and Communication
Knowledge of Pharmaceutical industry is a strong asset
Experience with Collibra is strongly asset
Knowledge of Information Architecture, Data Modeling, Reporting and Analytical concept is an asset
Comfortable working with different technology platforms coupled with a logical process and detail oriented mindset.
Strong communication, analytical, conceptual problem solving abilities
Curious self-start who is resourceful and collaborative
Experience with working in both a technical and business context with the ability to communicate technical concepts into ease to understand business languages
