Job Description

Responsible for maintaining inventory parts at the Data Center and working with third party customers Data Center Technicians (HWOPS) on server rack builds and decommissioning.

Pricipal Accountabilities

Tasks and Responsibilities

*Use client systems for Data Center management and communication.

*Cycle Count 4 data center pharmacies weekly and ensure no discrepancies.

*Monitor Inventory Delta report discrepancies and research to resolve.

*Keep accurate Seed Stock at all 4 pharmacies as per client requirements.

*Investigation of each category for consumed material status and verify the consumed against the inventory.

*Maintaining the daily activity list on the spares dashboard and compare against consumed material.

*Checking with warehouse for in-transit and on hand when doing the replenishment orders.

*Creating orders for data center pharmacy restocking.

*Coordinate with on-site vendor and driver for receiving and shipping, ensuring proper materials and verify parts for damages.

*Work with HWOPS Tech to source alternate parts to be replaced if those parts are not stocked in Pharmacy or Warehouse.

*Track RUSH shipments in JDA WMS and Gship for high priority items needed by HWOPS Techs.

*Researching parts and location as per HWOPS inquiry.

*Inbound and outbound shipping to and from Data Center.

*RMA inventory management of parts for destruction or Return to Vendor through client system.

*5S maintenance on new Seed Stock, creating labels, organizing bins and keeping areas clean and clear of debris in four Pharmacy rooms.

*Coordinating with client on Data Center Server Rack build for Rack placement and materials in the proper zones.

*Prepare Build Plans in conjunction with clients HWOPS Techs for warehouse shipping and data center install times.

*Create Orders for materials through client systems for Data Center server builds to be delivered to the Data Center.

*Receiving materials in Data Center and de-crating Server Racks as per the Builds Plan and moving materials into assigned rooms.

*Lead a team of 2-8 during the deployment process and ensure proper safety and operational guidelines are followed as per the build plans for server rack parts configuration.

*Identify the parts as per Population Guide and Populate materials into server racks.

*Identity the cables and the ports and make connections as per population guide.

*Installation of Air Conditioning Guards once racks are powered

*Communicate with client if any issues during population and update client system on the progress of the builds.

*Complete project request from client for labeling of cables, machines and racks

*Decommissioning of equipment as per client requirements based on system upgrades

*Ensure proper organization of pharmacy layouts as per client's requirements in four rooms

*Communicate and Coordinate with client and vendor to move high security data files from form the GTape Library to be shipped to secure offsite storage. Replenish and maintain GTape inventory when requested.

*Handling multiple projects at the same time depending on client needs.
