Responsibilities

Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of structural components Use hand tools, power tools for structural work Follow strict safety protocols while working with structural assemblies on construction sites or manufacturing facilities Maintain detailed documentation of work progress, inspection reports, and quality control logs in compliance with project standards

Qualifications

Must have a valid CWB certificate Proven experience working on construction sites or manufacturing environments as a welder or fabricator Skilled in welding with a strong understanding of welding techniques Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Mechanical knowledge of rigging and machining Familiarity with ASME codes & standards related to structural welding and fabrication practices Proficiency using, hand tools, power tools, and schematics for precise work Basic math skills for measurements and calculations involved in fabrication tasks Strong safety awareness with experience operating cranes, forklifts, and other heavy machinery safely
