Position Title: Intermediate Customs Rater
Reports To: Operations Manager and Managing Director
Status: Full Time - Hybrid, 4 days on site (7am - 3pm)
Candidate from Calgary / area to work remotely
Location: Calgary, Edmonton or Vancouver
Job Responsibilities:
-Ensure accurate and timely processing of shipments which could include all modes of transportation.
\xc2\xb7 Create customs entries via data and paperwork from carriers and clients.
\xc2\xb7 Release operations and administrative client services.
Knowledge of classification (Tariff)
\xc2\xb7 Negotiate rates and arrange local deliveries.
\xc2\xb7 Communicate with CBSA officers, carriers, forwarders, and other government agencies.
\xc2\xb7 Audit and review customs entries.
\xc2\xb7 Request and verify all documents.
\xc2\xb7 Answer standard questions and requests from customers, drivers, customs, and other officials.

Job Requirements
Job Requirements:

• CCS certification required.
• Knowledge of import and export permit
• Knowledge of type of entries and corrections Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of Customs Brokerage Rater experience.
• Accuracy and attention to detail is required. \xc2\xb7 Able to multi-task and prioritize.
• Must have IID release experience and good knowledge of PGA\'s.
• Familiarity with CanData is an asset.
• Work in a team environment.
• Customer oriented, mature and able to work independently.
• Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail is vital.
• Able to start work immediately will be an added advantage.
