To support our continued growth and success, we are seeking a solid Bilingual (English/French) Customer Service Representative who has good communication skills in English and French. Ideal candidate will provide top notch service and information to our corporate clients and suppliers.
Your Challenge:
Establish and maintain profitable relationships with carriers and customers on behalf of the company by taking responsibility for each customer contact and by ensuring that all customer requirements are met.
Tasks:
*Handle customer orders and enter them in TMS.
*Find carriers at a competitive price to move customer goods.
*Resolve problems with unique and outside-of-the-box solutions.
Individuals in this position respond to and manage customer requests, orders, and concerns as well as negotiate tariffs with carriers.
*Communicate effectively over the phone and electronically. - Accomplish work within set timeframes. *Act as key inside contact for specific customer/supplier base. - Acknowledge receipt of orders; obtain supplier pricing and availability, quoting customers. - Advise customers of order pick-up/delivery status.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Working knowledge of the logistics/transport industry
Bilingual (French/English)
Computer skills (Dispatch/Excel/Word)
Effective communication skills (phone and electronically)
Transport brokerage experience required
