We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food industry knowledge, and a passion for creating innovative and delicious dishes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee kitchen operations, manage food preparation, and ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained. Candidates with Indian restaurant management experience and a background in hospitality are highly preferred.

Duties



Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes according to established recipes and standards Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and food service personnel, ensuring efficient workflow Oversee food handling procedures to maintain safety and hygiene standards Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations Lead menu development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative culinary techniques Train new staff members on food preparation, safety protocols, and service standards Collaborate with restaurant management to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence Serve as a role model for team management, fostering a positive work environment

Skills



Proven experience in Indian food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or hospitality setting Supervising experience with team management capabilities Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team Skilled in restaurant management, including inventory control and menu planning Demonstrated expertise in kitchen operations, food industry trends, and hospitality standards Ability to serve guests professionally while maintaining high-quality service standards Effective communication skills to coordinate with staff and management seamlessly Passion for culinary arts with a creative approach to menu development

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 per hour
