Responsibilities

Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure high-quality dishes are served consistently. Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Maintain food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations throughout the kitchen. Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food handling, and presentation skills. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements as necessary to enhance efficiency.

Experience

Proven experience of 5 years or more in a culinary role within the food industry, preferably in a restaurant setting. Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and training. In-depth knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent cooking skills with a focus on quality and presentation. Previous experience in supervising or managing kitchen operations is highly desirable. A passion for hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences for guests. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
