Le(la) cuisinier(xc3xa8re) 2 est responsable de la prxc3xa9paration des aliments pour les services de dxc3xa9jeuner, dxc3xaener et souper, en respectant les normes de production et de qualitxc3xa9 xc3xa9tablies. Il veille xc3xa9galement xc3xa0 maintenir un environnement de travail propre, sxc3xa9curitaire et conforme aux rxc3xa8gles dxe2x80x99hygixc3xa8ne.
Ce que vous ferez :
Prxc3xa9parer les aliments selon les recettes, les portions et les standards de prxc3xa9sentation xc3xa9tablis.
Effectuer la mise en place et organiser sa station pour chaque service (dxc3xa9jeuner, dxc3xaener, souper).
Utiliser et entretenir correctement lxe2x80x99xc3xa9quipement de cuisine (fours, friteuses, trancheuses, etc.).
Respecter les rxc3xa8gles de rotation des aliments, de conservation et de sxc3xa9curitxc3xa9 alimentaire.
Estimer les besoins, vxc3xa9rifier les quantitxc3xa9s et gxc3xa9rer les restes de faxc3xa7on approprixc3xa9e.
Travailler en collaboration avec lxe2x80x99xc3xa9quipe et soutenir les opxc3xa9rations selon les besoins.
Se conformer aux politiques de lxe2x80x99hxc3xb4tel et effectuer toute autre txc3xa2che assignxc3xa9e.
Ce que vous contribuez :
Minimum de deux (2) annxc3xa9es dxe2x80x99expxc3xa9rience dans le domaine culinaire ou connexe ;
La certification MAPAQ est requise pour tout poste en cuisine;
Formation en xc3xa9cole de cuisine ou institut culinaire, ou expxc3xa9rience xc3xa9quivalente ;
Capacitxc3xa9 de faire fonctionner, dxe2x80x99entretenir et de nettoyer correctement la friteuse, la rxc3xb4tissoire, la cuisinixc3xa8re, le cuiseur xc3xa0 vapeur, le robot culinaire, le mxc3xa9langeur, la trancheuse, le four, le chauffe-plats, la marmite basculante, le gaufrier et le gril plat ;
Capacitxc3xa9 xc3xa0 se dxc3xa9placer dans les installations et xc3xa0 rester debout pendant de longues pxc3xa9riodes ;

About the role:
*Due to local regulations, priority will be given to candidates who are authorized to work in Canada and are fluent in both French and English, spoken and written.
The Cook 2 is responsible for preparing food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner services, in accordance with production and quality standards. They also ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic work environment is maintained at all times.
What you will do:
Prepare food consistently according to guest orders, recipes, portioning, and presentation standards.
Set up and maintain prep stations for breakfast, lunch, or dinner service.
Operate and clean kitchen equipment properly (e.g. fryer, oven, slicer, grill).
Follow food safety standards, including labeling, rotation, and proper storage.
Estimate food needs, monitor quantities, and manage leftovers appropriately.
Collaborate with team members and support kitchen operations as needed.
Adhere to hotel policies and perform other duties as assigned.
What you bring:
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the culinary or related field
MAPAQ certification is required for all kitchen positions
Culinary school or institute training, or equivalent experience
Ability to operate, maintain, and clean kitchen equipment including fryer, rotisserie, stove, steamer, food processor, blender, slicer, oven, hot box, tilting kettle, waffle maker, and flat-top grill
Ability to move around the facility and stand for extended periods
Good communication skills
