Key Responsibilities
Represent clients in all areas of criminal law, including bail hearings, trials, and appeals
Develop and execute defense strategies tailored to each case
Conduct legal research, prepare motions, and draft legal documents
Negotiate with Crown prosecutors to achieve favorable outcomes
Provide clear, compassionate legal advice to clients and families
Appear regularly in Ontario courts on behalf of clients
Manage multiple files efficiently while meeting deadlines
Qualifications
Licensed and in good standing with the
Law Society of Ontario
Minimum 4+ years of experience
practicing criminal law
Strong courtroom advocacy and cross-examination skills
Excellent legal research and writing abilities
Ability to manage high-pressure cases with professionalism
Client-focused, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
