Robert Half is urgently seeking a Credit Analyst for a 1-year contract role located in Woodbridge, Ontario!

Robert Half is urgently seeking a Credit Analyst for an exciting new 1-year contract located in Woodbridge, Ontario. This will be a fully on site position that will offer an excellent work environment and chance to build on your skills. We are seeking individuals with previous experience working as a Credit Analyst, including experience granting B2B credit limits up to $10,000. As well, experience with analyzing industry credit reports to determine credit worthiness will be required in this role. If this sounds like you then we would love to hear from you! Please note this is a 1-year contract position located fully on site in Woodbridge, Ontario (with potential for hybrid after the first 3 months).

Major responsibilities will include:

• Generate weekly credit line review reports
• Conduct credit review for new and existing customers
• Obtain references for new customers
• Set up new accounts for Accounts Receivables, maintain customer records in the system
• Assist with special projects
• Perform tax maintenance and validation, research and pull certificates for the tax department
• Conduct portfolio risk, receivables efficiency, aging analysis, and receivables delinquency analysis on a scheduled and periodic basis

• 2-5+ years of experience in a Credit Analyst or similar position mandatory
• Prior experience with granting B2B credit limits required
• Ability to analyze industry credit reports required
• Experience with determining credit worthiness of a company based on credit reports & information found on the internet required
• Ability to identify the credit limit required to meet business needs and support customers required
• Ability to read financial statements preferred
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and organization
• Post-secondary education in a related field
