We are looking for a talented Credit Analyst to join our growing credit risk team to help meet the demands for our industry leading programmatic advertising platform. The Credit Analyst will work closely with the other departments to build out a Credit Risk function and to improve the integrity and strength of our credit processes and balances.

StackAdapt is a Remote First company, we are open to candidates located anywhere in Canada willing to work within EST time zone.

What you will be doing:

  • Facilitate the customer onboarding process related to credit limits by performing thorough credit analysis on the customer
  • Manage customer credit limits and budget requirements
  • Monitor credit risk of the entire portfolio
  • Maintain and report to our Credit Insurance Program
  • Review accounts to ensure accurate provisions or insurance is in place
  • Assist the Accounts Receivable team with managing the collections of key customer accounts
  • Assist with the issuance of client collection reports
  • Assist with the processing of insurance claims, legal claims and lien filings
  • Assist with internal and external audit process
  • Assist the credit team with documentation of all credit processes
  • Showcase knowledge and ability to support the Accounts Receivable team relating to Accounts Receivable reports, cash receipts, and banking and data entry
  • Showcase knowledge and ability to prepare Credit related reports and audit reports as required
We will be reaching out to candidates that have:
  • University or college degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 3-5 years of high volume corporate experience in Commercial Credit Underwriting
  • Microsoft Office skills - Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook - ability to effectively analyze data using Excel
  • Experience using Dunn & Bradstreet Credit Scoring, Moody\'s RiskCalc, High Radius and other credit scoring platforms is a significant asset
  • Not mandatory but nice to have: Credit accreditation or working towards one. Experience working in programmatic advertising or a startup/tech culture or from a media background
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment with little supervision, and attention to detail
  • Basic accounting knowledge: Ability to analyze financial statements, calculate financial ratios and determinate probability of default
  • Excellent interpersonal & communications skills (written and verbal)
  • Exceptional customer service skills, takes initiative and is eager to learn
  • Proven ability to successfully build strong working relationships with team members; team player
