Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for efficiently monitoring the centralized queue and making decisions on prioritization and coordination of client requests
  • Exhibit a high degree of ownership and customer service by clarifying project instructions to ensure requests are efficiently processed
  • Consistently and effectively manages, prioritizes, and organizes projects to ensure project deadlines are met
  • Effectively estimate project effort and negotiate appropriate deadlines
  • Effectively liaise between the Clients, Creative Specialists and Quality Control Coordinators to ensure timely delivery of projects
  • Due diligence in seeing requests through to completion, and ensuring client / workflow issues are handled appropriately, escalating issues to Management as appropriate
  • Ensure a smooth handover of the queue during breaks and shift changes
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contributes to increases in efficiencies
  • Ensure all charge details are entered correctly into the project management propriety CRM application in preparation for the monthly billings
  • Produce accurate and high-quality work while ensuring all assigned projects are completed on time and adheres to the BMO brand standards
  • Create cutting-edge presentation designs, banner ads, invitations, newsletters and other visual communication for internal and external meetings while ensuring compliance to the BMO brand standards and consistency across multiple mediums
  • Transform text-heavy presentations into visually appealing layouts and infographics
  • Create high level maps with asset and location details
  • Provide on-call rotational weekend support as needed
  • Perform other related duties and assist with special projects assigned by Manager in response to the company's needs
  • Maintain and upgrade the skills needed to effectively perform role duties
Qualifications:
  • Typically between 2 - 3 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in Graphic Design; financial services industry preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat DC)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for document production
  • Demonstrate graphic design and desktop publishing skills
  • Ability to adapt and respond to challenges, deadlines, emergencies, and a rapidly changing work environment
  • Proactive and highly organized with an exceptional ability to multi-task
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Strong collaboration & team skills
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to details with emphasis on accuracy and quality
  • Work independently and as a team member with minimal supervision
  • Must be flexible to work various shifts, overtime and weekends as required
Job Shift Schedule:

12:00pm -8:30pm, Monday through Friday. Shift changes or weekend work may be required.

This role is primarily remote, with occasional team events in our downtown Toronto office.
