We are currently seeking an experienced Law Clerk/Legal Assistant, with experience in Corporate and Commercial Real Estate to join our team.
Requirements:
Duties to include all aspects of corporate organization and re-organization for our clients, including:
Incorporations and organizations of corporations, including non-profits
Amendments, Amalgamations, Dissolutions, Continuances, and similar material changes to corporate structures
Corporate reorganizations, including sophisticated tax driven re-organizations
Responsibility and supervision for the management and generation of the firm's corporate annual resolutions service that it offers to all of its corporate clients
Transactional support for the purchase and sale of businesses with an emphasis on:
Purchase and Sale of professional corporations.
Successful candidate should also have the following skills:
The ability to work independently and troubleshoot on one's own.
Strong word processing skills and familiarity with MS Office and, ideally, WordPerfect.
Proficiency in Fast Company software.
Excellent communication and inter-personal skills are necessary.
Positive attitude and ability to work well with others.
Strong organization skills and habits.
