Position: Corporate Controller - Financial Reporting

In this position, you will be responsible for the accuracy reporting of many entities and the improvement of accounting systems, streamlining of processes. As a Controller, you will be proactive and act as the main support to the Director of finance and the Accounting team.In this role reporting directly to the Director of finance, your responsibilities will be:
- Oversee the financial reporting and revenue teams, and manage the financial integration of newly acquired companies.
- Supervise 7 people.
- Ensure the timely preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements as per IFRS standards for all group entities.
- Lead annual external audits and collaborate with the Accounting Manager to ensure efficient month-end closes
- Continuously identify opportunities for operational improvements.
- Provide support for business in major projects.
- Provide financial assessments of new initiatives, guiding teams to maximize financial performance.
- Track project costs and benefits, aligning them with established budgets and forecasts.Qualification Criteria:- Accounting designation (CA, CGA or CMA).
- At least 6 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience with Netsuite an asset.
- Attention to detail, and strong ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Analytical mind, motivation and ability to function under minimal supervision
