Short Summary


Reporting to the Public Relations and Communications Manager, the Corporate Communications Associate will assist in developing and publishing social media content, social media community management and monitor the Company\xe2\x80\x99s social media channels. The Associate will also assist with the overall implementation of corporate communications strategies, including internal communications plans.


SOCIAL MEDIA AND MEDIA
\xef\x82\xa7 Assists with campaign-related and bi-monthly reporting for social media and traditional media.
\xef\x82\xa7 Basic editing for graphics and images
\xef\x82\xa7 Assists with maintaining a social media content calendar and developing social media content, facilitating approvals and coordinating French translation and posting content to the Company\xe2\x80\x99s social media accounts.
\xef\x82\xa7 Creates and administers corporate social media accounts as required.
\xef\x82\xa7 Using appropriate tools, moderates\xe2\x80\x99 interactions with the public and ensures the Company\xe2\x80\x99s social media policies and procedures are respected. CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS
\xef\x82\xa7 Assist with corporate initiatives such as the implementation of the communications plans for the strategic plan, reports, etc.
\xef\x82\xa7 Collaborates as necessary with vendors, consultants, management, and staff to produce required communications materials.
\xef\x82\xa7 Assists with managing the timelines, translation, accessibility, and approvals processes required for a variety of communications related projects.
ONLINE PRESENCE
  • Assists with the updating information on the Company\xe2\x80\x99s intranet including writing content and posting.
  • Creates graphics to accompany intranet articles.
  • Works with offices across the organization to ensure that content is up to date, relevant and updated on the intranet in a timely manner and refreshed on a continuous basis.
  • Assists with maintaining an image library.

CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT
  • Optimizes photographs for social media, corporate documents, advertisements, and online imagery.
  • Ensures that the production of all materials is compliant with brand guidelines and Official Languages Act



Qualifications


  • Post-secondary education, college degree, business or technical diploma or sufficient equivalent work experience
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years related experience, in managing social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), along with knowledge of social monitoring, listening, reporting and content development.
  • Familiarity with various social media networks and social media scheduling, monitoring and listening platforms.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to write engaging content for various audiences using clear and concise messages.
  • Effective project management skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects, deliverables and deadlines.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Graphic Design experience is an asset.
  • Bilingualism is an asset.
