The Enterprise Data & Analytics (ED&A) team has an enterprise-wide mandate focused on building and maturing the Data & Analytics (D&A) capabilities and tools needed to enable TD\xe2\x80\x99s key business strategies and drive us towards becoming a truly insights-driven organization. Our key stakeholders are the D&A Community across the Bank, though a top priority is to also continue building awareness, understanding and adoption with those TD colleagues outside of the D&A space. Our strategy is focused on embedding D&A into TD\xe2\x80\x99s DNA by unleashing the value of our data and analytical capabilities, informing decision-making, and enhancing TD\xe2\x80\x99s market strategies.

The Communications Associate II plays a key role on the ED&A Communications & Engagement team. Not only will the candidate have the opportunity to support on a variety of communications activities on an ongoing basis, they will also help lead on ensuring that all key communications and engagement efforts geared towards reaching ED&A\xe2\x80\x99s priority audiences will have a visual, creative edge that helps them stand out \xe2\x80\x93 further strengthening ED&A\xe2\x80\x99s internal brand across TD.
The successful candidate will provide support for activities like newsletters, presentations, article or blog post creations, and planning and execution support for exciting cross-team and/or cross-enterprise events \xe2\x80\x93 with a specific focus on bringing these efforts to life through design and visual multimedia support, where appropriate.
As audience expectations change and become more digital, bite-sized, and dynamic in nature, the successful candidate will bring fresh, innovative ideas on multimedia solutions to incorporate into our communications strategy.

Job requirements:
  • Lead on the end-to-end development and execution of a monthly update publication to the D&A Community at TD \xe2\x80\x93 includes content coordination and design
  • Coordinate regular contributions to other publications across the Bank to help share ED&A\xe2\x80\x99s story to business partners
  • Act as lead for designing and maintaining ED&A\xe2\x80\x99s internal intranet page (Microsoft SharePoint platform)
  • Lead on creation of infographics, videos, banners, and other multimedia solutions to help bolster communication plans and events
  • Support the creation and refinement of PowerPoint slides for leaders where required
  • Act as a brand ambassador for the department, ensuring a consistent approach to all design assets being produced and communicated within the Bank
Requirements
Required skills:
  • Min. 2 years of professional experience
  • Strong experience with design tools such as Canva, Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop \xe2\x80\x93 combined with a passion for creativity
  • Strong writing skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) is an asset but not required
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • A keen attention to detail supported by strong organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects and/or tasks to meet deadlines
  • Flexible and adaptable \xe2\x80\x93 comfortable with ambiguity and a rapidly changing environment
  • A desire for ongoing growth and development is an asset!
