We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic core cutter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part by providing essential support in the processing of core samples. Your attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a team will be vital to the success of our projects.
Responsibilities
Operate cutting machinery with precision to produce core samples according to detailed specifications.
Ensure all core samples meet quality standards by inspecting finished products for accuracy and consistency.
Collaborate with the geological and technical teams to optimize cutting processes and improve efficiency.
Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe working environment at all times.
Maintain optimal machine performance through regular adjustments, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance.
Document production data accurately, including measurements, quantities, and machine settings.
Requirements
Full (G) drivers license.
Strong understanding of geological sampling techniques and principles.
Previous experience in mining, geological, or laboratory environment preferred.
Ability to work in both independent and team-oriented environments.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and production-driven environment.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
