The opportunity:
Reporting to the Director Supply Chain, the Coordinator, Supply Chain Vendor Compliance ensures shipments comply with the Reitmans Canada shipping and packing requirements for a maximum efficiency throughout our supply chain. The coordinator acts as the main point of contact for all enquiries from internal and external business partners related to shipping, packing and receiving procedures. What you will do:

  • Ensure smooth onboarding of new vendors and reinforces the vendor compliance procedures;
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and coordinate with different teams to resolve any issue related to claims, compliance, and the web-based vendor portal;
  • Manage branded vendors shipments and with our third-party contractor for all VAS (Value added Services);
  • Process all claims to vendors and freight forwarders and follow up with related internal and external parties;
  • Process all customs claims (voluntary entries and duty drawback) in a timely manner to avoid governmental penalties and coordinates with the customs broker, CBSA (Canada Borders Service Agency) and Distribution center accordingly.


Qualifications
Requirements:
  • Diploma in International Trade, Commerce, Logistics or Supply Chain (or equivalent);
  • 1 year of relevant experience;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Intermediate level of Excel;
  • Bilingual (French & English - written and spoken).
