CO-OP ADMINISTRATORUnder the direction of a Board of Directors, the Administrator must have a good understanding of, and experience in, keeping minutes of meetings, effective managing of records, and maintaining financial accounts and statements. Duties include:
- administer the loans to members according to procedures established
- handle day to day correspondence and activities; including processing all agreements and promissory notes; dealing with all forms that need to be completed; handling questions from members about the program and their accounts; preparing reports for the lender and project supervisor, etc.
- maintain and control a complete accounting trail for all financial transactions involved
- establish and maintain a complete filing system
- establish a financial record (bookkeeping) system, satisfactory to the Board and the Accountant. Prepare month end statements to verify the status of loans and inventories for the lender and project manager. Ensure all bank accounts balance at month end
- work closely with the Supervisor(s) to maintain effective communication about each member's activities
- be prepared to be flexible to adjust to different work loads in different seasons
This is a contract position for approximately 30-35 flexible hours per week, working from your home/office. Mileage reimbursed. Proximity to North Waterloo would be an asset.Please submit your resume, experience and salary expectations by September 10, 2022.
