We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our culinary team for Greek restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Greek food preparation and cooking, with a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious meals, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an efficient workflow and high-quality standards. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary. Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food safety practices, and proper equipment usage. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area at all times. Create new menu items based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.

Skills

Proficient in serving techniques and food preparation methods. Strong cooking skills with experience in various cuisines. Knowledge of food service operations and best practices in the food industry. Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety guidelines. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
