Duties
Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring a high level of performance and teamwork.
Plan and design menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain quality standards.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock.
Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food safety, and restaurant management.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Monitor kitchen operations to optimize workflow and efficiency.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the food service industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
In-depth knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and safety regulations.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with staff and management.
