The Kitchen Helper plays a vital role in the smooth operation of our kitchen, assisting chefs and kitchen staff in food preparation and maintaining cleanliness. Duties

Assist in food preparation by washing, chopping, and measuring ingredients as directed by the cook or chef. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. Ensure that all food handling practices meet safety and sanitation standards. Help with inventory management by organizing and storing food supplies properly. Support the cooking staff during meal service by providing assistance as needed. Clean workstations and dining areas to ensure a hygienic environment for both staff and guests. Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe kitchen environment.

Skills

Experience in food preparation or food handling is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and cleaning procedures is beneficial. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of hospitality standards within a restaurant or hotel setting is an asset. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards in food service.
