Job Description

Robert Half is the worldwide leader in specialized consulting and staffing services for senior-level accounting, finance, and business systems professionals.

Our client is currently seeking a Controller for a 12-month contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing financial reports, while ensuring the integrity of financial data and systems, developing and monitoring budgets and forecasts.

The Controller duties will include:

\xc2\xb7 Overseeing the accounting operations and month end close activity.

\xc2\xb7 Assisting with clean up activity, account reconciliations, and review of transactions

\xc2\xb7 Prepare intercompany transactions and reconciliations.

\xc2\xb7 Review member agreements, ensuring accurate allocation of revenue and expenditures

\xc2\xb7 Overseeing budgets, forecasts, and cashflow analysis

\xc2\xb7 Accurate GL reporting, including subledger reconciliations

\xc2\xb7 Performing the analysis and review of operations

\xc2\xb7 Manage and oversee team

\xc2\xb7 Other duties as required

Requirements

The ideal Controller will have the following skills and experience:

\xc2\xb7 A recognized accounting designation (CPA or ACCA) or Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting and equivalent experience

\xc2\xb7 Experience in the not-for-profit or NGO sector

\xc2\xb7 Working experience with QB, QB Online, Sage300 or Sages 50

\xc2\xb7 Excellent oral and written communication skills

\xc2\xb7 Advanced level Microsoft Excel

\xc2\xb7 Strong analytical skills and understanding of business environment
