Job Description

Robert Half Management Resources is the worldwide leader in specialized consulting and staffing services for senior-level accounting, finance and business systems professionals.

Our financial services client is seeking a Controller for a six-month term with the possibility of extension. This position will be responsible for the organization\'s financial management and oversight, internal controls and reporting.

The Controller\'s duties will include:

\xc2\xb7 Preparing Financial Statements including mgmt. fee calculation

\xc2\xb7 Monitoring bank covenants

\xc2\xb7 Managing audits and tax returns

\xc2\xb7 Preparing monthly and quarterly compliance reporting

\xc2\xb7 Reviewing reconciliations and reports prepared by team

\xc2\xb7 Reviewing dividends

\xc2\xb7 Managing team

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

\xc2\xb7 Post-secondary education in a relevant field

\xc2\xb7 CPA designation mandatory

\xc2\xb7 A minimum of three years in a similar role

\xc2\xb7 Organized, detail-oriented and strong communication and interpersonal skills

\xc2\xb7 Strong technical accounting skills

\xc2\xb7 Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making and time management skills and be able to manage deadlines effectively
