Progesys est actuellement \xc3\xa0 la recherche d\'un(e) Gestionnaire de Contrats /Commercial pour un de nos projets au Qu\xc3\xa9bec.

Responsabilit\xc3\xa9s principales :

  • Participer \xc3\xa0 la philosophie de passation des march\xc3\xa9s du projet, au calendrier des march\xc3\xa9s subs\xc3\xa9quents et au plan g\xc3\xa9n\xc3\xa9ral de passation des march\xc3\xa9s, y compris la pr\xc3\xa9paration du dictionnaire des march\xc3\xa9s
  • Participer aux r\xc3\xa9unions de lancement de la demande de propositions afin d\'\xc3\xa9laborer un plan de contrat individuel plus d\xc3\xa9taill\xc3\xa9 qui sera utilis\xc3\xa9 par toutes les disciplines impliqu\xc3\xa9es dans l\'\xc3\xa9laboration de l\'\xc3\xa9tendue des travaux techniques
  • S\'assurer que tous les dossiers contractuels sont conserv\xc3\xa9s conform\xc3\xa9ment aux proc\xc3\xa9dures du projet.
  • S\'assurer que les dossiers d\'appel d\'offres ont \xc3\xa9t\xc3\xa9 pr\xc3\xa9par\xc3\xa9s en fonction des exigences du travail et des donn\xc3\xa9es techniques
  • \xc3\x89tablir des strat\xc3\xa9gies de n\xc3\xa9gociation
  • Coordonner les r\xc3\xa9unions d\'explication des soumissions pour les port\xc3\xa9es de travail appropri\xc3\xa9es (y compris les visites de chantier requises) afin de s\'assurer que les soumissionnaires comprennent la port\xc3\xa9e du travail/des services \xc3\xa0 fournir.
  • S\'assurer que les documents d\'appel d\'offres ont \xc3\xa9t\xc3\xa9 re\xc3\xa7us et \xc3\xa9valu\xc3\xa9s de mani\xc3\xa8re \xc3\xa9quitable et \xc3\xa9thique par les ing\xc3\xa9nieurs de la discipline, et donner des conseils \xc3\xa0 ce sujet
  • Assurer la s\xc3\xa9curit\xc3\xa9 des informations sur les prix
  • Faire les recommandations appropri\xc3\xa9es au client et coordonner l\'attribution du contrat
  • Tenir des r\xc3\xa9unions de chantier avec les entrepreneurs, au besoin, pour surveiller l\'avancement des travaux et le respect du contrat
  • G\xc3\xa9rer les contrats, notamment en documentant les modifications apport\xc3\xa9es au contrat en temps opportun et en traitant les factures des entrepreneurs
  • Fixer l\'objectif de z\xc3\xa9ro r\xc3\xa9clamation des entrepreneurs (sans compter les modifications normales et acceptables)
  • Suivre la livraison sur le site
  • Pr\xc3\xa9parer des rapports mensuels sur l\'\xc3\xa9tat du contrat
  • Coordonner l\'acceptation finale des travaux et les paiements associ\xc3\xa9s
Exigences :
  • Dipl\xc3\xb4me en Administration des affaires, gestion ou dans une discipline connexe
  • Plus de 10 ans d\'exp\xc3\xa9rience dans un poste similaire
  • Connaissance de la loi des contrats, des principes comptables et des finances
  • Attention sup\xc3\xa9rieure aux d\xc3\xa9tails
  • Exp\xc3\xa9rience pr\xc3\xa9alable dans le domaine du service \xc3\xa0 la client\xc3\xa8le et fortes comp\xc3\xa9tences en communication
  • Excellente connaissance de Microsoft Office, principalement d\'Excel et de l\'\xc3\xa9laboration de rapports
  • Capacit\xc3\xa9 \xc3\xa0 travailler de mani\xc3\xa8re productive, de mani\xc3\xa8re ind\xc3\xa9pendante et en tant que membre d\'une \xc3\xa9quipe
  • Excellentes comp\xc3\xa9tences en communication orale et \xc3\xa9crite
  • Bilingue (fran\xc3\xa7ais et anglais) (Le bilinguisme est requis pour cette position puisque l\'employ\xc3\xa9 devra communiquer avec des parties prenantes ne parlant pas le fran\xc3\xa7ais)

Progesys Inc. is a recognized firm offering complete solutions for project management and transition to operations. The company has been based in Laval (Canada) since 2002 and has offices in the United States, the Middle East, Asia, and Brazil.

Progesys is currently looking for a Contract /Commercial Manager for one of our projects in Quebec.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the project contracting philosophy and subsequent contract schedule and overall contracting plan including preparation of contract dictionary
  • Participate in RFP kick-off meetings to develop a more detailed individual contract plan for utilization by all involved disciplines in developing the technical scope of work
  • Ensure all contract files are maintained in accordance with the project procedures
  • Ensure that contract bid packages have been prepared based on job requirements and engineering data
  • Establish negotiating strategies
  • Coordinate bid explanation meetings for appropriate Scopes of Work (including required job walks) to ensure bidders understand the scope of work / services to be provided.
  • Ensure and advising that bid documents have been received and evaluated in a fair and ethical manner by discipline engineers
  • Ensure security of pricing information
  • Make appropriate recommendations to the client and coordinating contract award
  • Hold jobsite meetings with the Contractors, as necessary, to monitor progress and contract compliance
  • Manage contracts, including documenting changes to the contract in a timely manner and processing Contractor invoices
  • Set the goal of zero Contractor claims (not including normal and acceptable changes)
  • Monitor the delivery to site
  • Prepare monthly contract status reports
  • Coordinate final acceptance of work and associated payments
Requirements:
  • Degree in Business Administration, Management or a related discipline
  • 10+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Knowledge of contract law, accounting principles and finance
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Previous customer service experience and strong communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, primarily Excel and report development
  • Ability to work productively, independently and as a team member
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Bilingual (French and English) (Bilingualism is required for this position as the employee will be communicating with non-French speaking stakeholders).
