Job Description

UV Designs is a full\xe2\x80\x93service digital marketing agency based in Vaughan, with a focus on design, web, search engine optimization and social media marketing. We are currently seeking a creative, dynamic, and versatile individual to join our team as a Content Writer / Administrative Assistant. Responsibilities: Content Writing:

  • Create engaging and informative blog content for our clients as well as content related to our products and industry trends.
  • Conduct research, gather relevant information, and develop compelling blog posts to enhance our online presence and engage our target audience.
  • Support the graphic design and marketing team to create engaging written content for a wide range of clientele and audiences.
Administrative Support:
  • Front Desk Reception - You\'ll be the first and last impression to our business. Screening and directing calls.
  • Assist with various administrative tasks, including answering phone calls, providing exceptional customer service, and addressing inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Embrace a flexible mindset to tackle various tasks and contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.
  • Place orders for supplies, equipment, and materials.
  • Data Entry and Reports - input and maintain data in company databases and spreadsheets.
Requirements:
  • College/University certificate, diploma, or Bachelor\'s degree in Communications, English, Business Administration, and/or experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Exceptional writing skills with the ability to create engaging and persuasive content.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to proofread and edit written material for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with content management systems (CMS) i.e. Wordpress, Shopify, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is an asset.
  • Prior experience in customer service or administrative support roles is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
