As Content Marketing Coordinator, a typical day might include:
  • Working with technical subject matter experts & sales team members to write and produce marketing and sales collateral, professional presentation materials, website content, and digital campaigns
  • Leading the development of compelling blog content, white papers, and e-books, e-mail marketing campaigns, press releases, and other internal/external communication
  • Collaborating with the Marketing Director to create, set, and achieve meaningful campaign metrics
  • Preparing reports and analysis using HubSpot and Google Analytics to determine ROI and strategy
  • Developing email and inbound marketing content strategy throughout the customer journey lifecycle, optimizing for conversion and customer loyalty
  • Strategizing, planning, and creating content initiatives and editorial calendars to support marketing and sales goals, while taking ownership of resulting outcomes
  • Setting up landing pages for gated content where applicable through templates created within HubSpot
  • Keeping abreast of inbound and social media trends, and research new opportunities
  • Maintaining best-in-class email lead nurturing programs and SEO practices
  • Monitoring and addressing Google Reviews as needed
  • Assisting in preparing press releases for PR communication
  • Tracking effectiveness of various campaigns and implementing course corrections as needed

  • Thorough understanding and experience with inbound & content marketing
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills, including writing and editing
  • Managing projects with a high level of organization and demonstrating an ability to scope, plan, and set deadlines
  • Leading the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, driving collaboration with stakeholders and using appropriate internal processes
  • Tracking effectiveness of your marketing campaigns and implementing course corrections as needed

Must haves:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years relevant work experience
  • BA/BS or equivalent degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or Marketing
  • Experience with content management systems such as HubSpot
  • Experience writing content to engage readers and maximize SEO success
  • Google Analytics experience for content tracking and ideation
  • Demonstrated record of accomplishment and successful execution of marketing assets \xe2\x80\x93 blog article, white paper, guide, and graphics
  • High level of experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc), Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Experience in Financial Services industry an asset

  • Knowledge and experience building marketing & sales presentations (MS Office Suite, Prezi, etc.)
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently, and complete projects with limited instruction
  • Willingness to learn the basics of insurance, the company\xe2\x80\x99s products and services, and the market landscape
  • Flexibility in adapting to changes in priorities, assignments, and interruptions which may impact pre-established timelines for completing projects & assignments
