Who you are:

The Marketing Coordinator supports the planning and execution of the HSOB marketing plan. From producing our base sales kits and marketing materials across touchpoints and audiences to coordinating organic and paid digital campaigns and contests, this role is a unique opportunity to grow as a well-rounded marketer.

We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for candidates with strong project management skills as well as a creative edge, to be able to not only coordinate but actively contribute to the production, update, and management of our all HSOB marketing assets (print, digital, video).

This role reports directly to the Director of HSOB Marketing and will collaborate internally with another HOSB Content Marketing Coordinator and the larger CIEE Digital Marketing Team and HSOB sales team to plan the execution of the HSOB marketing plan and track performance over time.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:

Develop new material and update existing assets:
  • Update/edit existing digital and print collaterals or templates such as sell sheets, flyers, posters\xe2\x80\xa6 etc
  • Help develop copy and curate visuals for new digital and print content
  • Coordinate external resources for the production of large-scale print, digital, copywriting, and video projects
  • Consolidate web edit requests and coordinate edits with the web team
  • Coordinate with CIEE Digital Marketing Team to keep 3rd party site listing inventory up to date
  • Act as a brand steward, upholding brand and trademark standards and consistency in all projects
Support mass communication needs:
  • Supports new email content development as needed by curating new visuals, graphics, or copy
  • Coordinate production of emails with the web team
  • Send ad hoc mass texts and mail merges as needed and in coordination with sales
Coordinate promotions and digital campaigns:
  • Support the Director of Marketing in the planning and execution of promotions across HSOB business lines
  • Coordinate campaign setup and reporting with the digital marketing team
  • Supports the planning, promotion, and execution of the annual Global Navigator Virtual Fair
Engage our community:
  • Support Content Marketing Coordinator with basic copy and graphics assets for email marketing and social media
  • Run participant contests on social media
  • Coordinate social media takeovers
  • Support the Director of Marketing in running the Global Ambassador program
  • Support the Director of Marketing in running 3 to 4 teacher events every year
Reporting and administration:
  • Own referrals reporting and fulfillment
  • Report project expenses and process invoices with accounts payable
  • Increase operational efficiency: Help set up and improve workflow processes when and where needed
Manage production and inventory of giveaways:
  • Generate new swag ideas o Work with vendors to quote and produce new material
  • Manage online store inventory with a vendor
  • Coordinate shipping to sales teams, schools, and participants
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive activity
  • Other duties as assigned
What you\xe2\x80\x99ll bring:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in marketing, advertising, business management, or related field
  • 1-2 years experience in marketing or related function at an agency or internal marcom department
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in basic graphic design and fluency in the Adobe Software suite (specifically, InDesign, Photoshop) and Canva
  • Experience with simple video editing (iMovie, Premiere, Windows Movie Maker a plus)
  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable with web-based project management tools and collaboration technologies
  • Creative problem-solving with a \xe2\x80\x9ccan-do mentality\xe2\x80\x9d
  • Flexible, change-embracing in rapidly evolving work and market environment
  • Ability to relate to and work with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Optional/Plus:
  • Experience with Drupal or similar CMS is a plus
  • International experience is a plus
