Position: Marketing Coordinator, First-Year Abroad and Gap

Reports to: Marketing Manager, First-Year Abroad and Gap

Location: US and Canada - Remote

Who you are:

Marketing Coordinator supports the planning and execution of the First-Year Abroad and Gap marketing plan. From producing our base sales kits and marketing materials across touchpoints and audiences to coordinating organic and paid digital campaigns and contests, this role is a unique opportunity to grow as a well-rounded marketer. We\'re looking for candidates with strong project management skills as well as a creative edge, to be able to not only coordinate but actively contribute to the production, update, and management of all FirstYear Abroad and Gap marketing assets (print, digital, video). This role will collaborate internally with the HOSB Content Marketing Coordinator and the larger CIEE Digital Marketing Team and HSOB sales team to plan the execution of the HSOB marketing plan and track performance over time

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:
  • Develop/edit print and digital marketing materials (flyers, posters, sell sheets, videos, social graphics, etc.)
  • Supervise web edits and work with the web team to keep third-party site listing inventory current
  • Support sales with mass communication needs (email and text content development)
  • Coordinate promotions and digital campaigns
  • Develop social media calendar and engage our communities throughout the year (day-to-day DMs and posts, contests, takeover coordination, etc.)
  • Support the Director of Marketing in running the Global Ambassador program and PD events
  • Own marketing spend tracking and reporting
  • Manage production and inventory of giveaways
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive activity
  • Other duties as assigned
What you\xe2\x80\x99ll bring:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in marketing, advertising, business management, or related field
  • 1-2 years experience in marketing or related function at an agency or internal Marcom department
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in basic graphic design and fluency in the Adobe Software suite (specifically, InDesign, Photoshop) and Canvas
  • Experience with simple video editing (iMovie, Premiere, Windows Movie Maker a plus)
  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable with web-based project management tools and collaboration technologies
  • Creative problem-solving with a "can-do mentality"
  • Flexible, change-embracing in rapidly evolving work and market environment
  • Ability to relate to and work with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Experience with Drupal or similar CMS is a plus
  • International experience is a plus
