Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with our residential construction project, supporting skilled tradespeople and ensuring the smooth progress of work sites. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry while contributing to the successful completion of projects. The position requires physical stamina, reliability, and a strong work ethic to perform essential tasks safely and efficiently.

Duties

Assist with loading and unloading construction materials and equipment Prepare job sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing tools Perform basic demolition tasks and site cleanup to maintain safety standards Assist skilled tradespeople with tasks such as mixing concrete, digging trenches, or installing materials Operate hand tools and small machinery under supervision Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents and injuries Support the team in maintaining a clean and organized work environment throughout the project lifecycle

Skills

Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety procedures is preferred but not required; training will be provided Good communication skills and attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and able to work in various weather conditions Prior experience in construction or related fields is a plus but not necessary; willingness to learn is essential

Pay: $17.78-$19.00 per hour
