Construction Management Representative
Job Description
Connex Personnel is currently recruiting for a Construction Management Representative (CMR) to support the installation of a new control building in the town of Wabush, NL. The CMR will be responsible for oversight of the offloading, assembly, and testing of a new control building, for all electrical, mechanical, structural and architectural components of work. Acting on behalf of the Engineering Services Dept., the CMR is responsible for daily inspection reports, participation in daily tailboards, ensuring the contractor is following safety plans and work scopes, and ensuring the contractor is following proper work practices. Anticipated Start and End Date: April 4 \xe2\x80\x93 21, 2023. Estimated duration: Estimated duration of site work is planned for 18 days. **If applicable, travel days shall be added to the above dates for total duration of the work. Required CMR background/experience (discipline): Terminal station experience with a background in electrical and/or structural, as well as commissioning experience is a preference. Required Training: Fall Arrest First Aid Powerline hazards WHMIS 2015 or equivalent The CMR is expected to work 12 hours per day and 7 days per week and shall include weekends. www.connexpersonnel.com Job Type: Fixed term contract
