Brief Overview: The 4D BIM Coordinator is responsible for the 4D production and tracking. The 4D BIM Coordinator needs to have strong technical knowledge in BIM and scheduling and will interact with site trades and CCM project managers to maintain the flow of Information in its virtual format to the trades and clients. The 4D BIM Coordinator will report to the BIM & Scheduling Manager. Responsibilities:

• Assist and support projects and pursuits in the production of 4D models along with the analysis, creation and management of Building Information Models (BIM) and 2D drawings using these processes:

• Data collection
• Model/file management
• 4D simulation/schedules
• Renderings
• Animations
• Site logistics plans
• Excavation models
• Aid in the coordination/creation of lift drawings as required
• Prepare and revise 3D BIM models in Revit and 2D drawings in AutoCAD as required
• Clash detection

• Develop 4D Schedules including modeling, animation, timeline, schedule, and schedule tracking.

Qualifications
Required:

• Graduate from a recognized post-secondary institution in Architectural Technologist, Drafting, Bachelor\'s Degree or Diploma in Architecture or Engineering.
• Minimum 5-years of Professional experience.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Navisworks and Revit.
• Utilize collaboration techniques for information management, implement Building Information Modelling (BIM) and integrating models.
• Experience implementing BIM related processes with the ability to take the initiative and proactively address challenges or gaps in the process.
• Read and review documents, contracts, drawings, and specifications with the ability to create models from these.
• Preferred experience in priority setting, multitasking, and working with minimal direct supervision.
• Thorough understanding and knowledge of industry standards, current construction best practices, processes, and their impact on project activities.
• Experience in High Rise construction is a definite asset.
• Demonstrate a reliable, responsive, and positive work ethic.

Desired:

• Proficiency with Fuzor and Primavera P6.
• Experience with Bluebeam, BIM360, Synchro.
