: Estimator Coordinator
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Estimator Coordinator to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting the estimating department by managing documentation, facilitating communication, and ensuring the smooth flow of data and project information. The Estimator Coordinator plays a key role in helping our estimators deliver accurate and timely bids by maintaining order and efficiency behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities
Document Management
Organize, maintain, and distribute bid documents, drawings, specifications, and addenda.
Ensure all project files are up-to-date and accessible to the estimating team.
Data Entry & Reporting
Input project details, quantities, and pricing into estimating software or spreadsheets.
Generate reports, summaries, and bid logs as needed.
Estimator Support
Assist estimators with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, tracking deadlines, and preparing bid submissions.
Coordinate RFIs (Requests for Information) and follow up with subcontractors and suppliers.
Communication & Coordination
Act as a liaison between estimators, project managers, clients, and vendors.
Track incoming bids, proposals, and responses to ensure timely follow-up.
Process Improvement
Help refine and streamline estimating workflows and documentation practices.
Maintain templates and standard operating procedures for estimating tasks.
Qualifications
Proven experience in administrative support, preferably in construction, engineering, or estimating environments.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with construction terminology and bid processes is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
