What We're Looking For

Red Seal Construction Electrician*
Minimum 5 years experience in residential and commercial work*
Someone who shows up, communicates well, and holds a high standard*
A problem-solver who cares about quality, safety, and the client experience*

Tasks & Responsibilities

Install, replace, repair and troubleshoot electrical controls and panel boxes*
Install underground wiring and cables*
Splice, join and connect wires*
Design and construct single-phase service for single or multimeter installations*
Design and construct low-voltage (30-750V) multiphase service for single or multimeter installations*
Test and measure voltage, loads, and ground fault integrity of circuits*
Troubleshoot, isolate and repair faults*
Install surface-mount and overhead cables*
Connect power to audio/visual equipment*
Install power generation, standby power and power-conditioning systems*
Ground and bond electrical equipment, systems, structures, pools and hot tubs*
Renovate electrical systems in both residential and commercial structures*
Keep accurate maintenance reports and documentation*
Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications*
Estimate costs and materials*
Instruct apprentices*
Supervise other workers*
Deliver professionalism in customer service at all times*

Experience

Proven experience as an electrician in residential, commercial, or construction environments*
Strong knowledge of electrical code, blueprint reading, schematics and diagnostics*
Skilled with hand tools, power tools and job-site equipment*
Confident with both low-voltage and high-voltage systems*
Able to work independently or as part of a team, with a strong eye for detail and safety*

Certificates / Licences

Electrician Trade Certification*
Construction Electrician Red Seal Certification*

Compensation

$32-$40 per hour, depending on experience and overall skill level
