Position Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyperson Construction Electrician to join our team. This role involves working on a variety of residential and commercial projects, from new builds to renovations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-standard electrical installations.

Key Responsibilities

Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in compliance with the Canadian Electrical Code and local regulations. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Collaborate with team members and apprentices to complete projects on time and to Highland Electric's quality standards. Troubleshoot electrical systems and provide effective solutions. Maintain a safe and organized worksite, following all company and safety protocols. Represent Highland Electric with professionalism and integrity when interacting with clients, contractors, and other trades.

Qualifications

Valid Journeyperson Electrician License in Manitoba. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in construction or commercial/residential electrical work. Strong knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean abstract. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Schedule:

Full-time, Monday to Friday (occasional overtime as required)
