About the role:
A Placer is responsible for constructing and assembling concrete formwork for residential foundations, footings, and walls. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprints, measurements, and structural integrity to ensure proper alignment and stability of the forms. The cribber will work with hand and power tools, assist in pouring concrete, and follow safety procedures to maintain a secure and efficient job site.
Responsibilities:
Install and finish concrete in various structures including footings, walls, and pads in a professional, safe, and efficient manner.
Drive to and from worksites in a safe and legal manner as per directives from dispatch.
Maintain clean working environments within customer sites, Rolling Mix yards, and vehicles.
Ensure job sites are 100% complete and accurate before departing to next customer site.
Safe and proper use of concrete finishing tools.
Repair and resurface damaged concrete sections as necessary.
Prepare and fill out forms as necessary.
Candidate requirements:
Valid class 5 drivers license with a clean 3-year drivers abstract.
Willing and able to work flexible hours such as overtime and weekends as dictated by needs of the business.
Ability to perform repetitive motions including bending, climbing and reaching overhead above the shoulders daily.
Comfortable working outdoors during all seasons.
Excellent organization, communication, and listening skills.
Understand how individual efforts contribute to the success of the overall team.
Punctual and reliable.
Strong knowledge of the City of Calgary and surrounding towns.
As a part of our Occupational Health program and dedication around safety, all employees working with heavy machinery and equipment are required to provide a clean Criminal Record, complete a fit-for-work physical, and successfully provide a clean drug and alcohol test.

Pay: $29.00-$33.00 per hour
