Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly, professional, and attentive

Security Guard

to join our team. This role is focused primarily on

guest check-ins and check-outs

, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and organized environment for all visitors. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong commitment to customer service.

Duties

Greet and assist guests upon arrival and departure in a professional, courteous manner. Check guests in and out, verify information, and record details such as name, time, and unit or area of access. Maintain an accurate log of visitors, deliveries, and contractors on-site. Provide clear directions and helpful information to guests as needed. Monitor lobby or entry area to ensure only authorized individuals access the premises. Communicate effectively with building management or supervisors regarding any issues or concerns. Be available for

afternoon shifts

and

on-call coverage

as required.

Requirements

Previous experience in

customer service, concierge, or front desk security

is an asset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; professional and welcoming demeanor. Strong attention to detail when recording guest information. Ability to remain calm and courteous when handling inquiries or busy periods. Must possess a valid

security guard license

(as required by provincial/state regulations).

Afternoon and on-call availability

is required. Physically able to stand or sit for extended periods as needed.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 20 per week
