As a member of the user support team, you will collaborate with a dynamic team to resolve incidents and also participate in various projects.


Your role:

  • Provide bilingual remote and telephone support to the company's employees in multiple locations in Quebec and North America;
  • Resolve problems and perform hardware and software updates;
  • To follow up on user interventions, to follow up on requests and to ensure that procedures are respected;
  • Carry out installation, configuration and update requests for software and software packages;
  • To provide basic training during the configuration and update of software packages;
  • Carry out the physical installation of computers and participate in the maintenance of the computer fleet;
  • Act as a technical resource for all printing problems including cartridge changes;
  • Carry out the various reorganizations of the computer equipment when required;
  • Accompany the staff in the meeting rooms;
  • Receive merchandise (computer equipment);
  • Write or update installation procedures, as needed;
  • Ensure proper documentation and quality control of services and equipment;
  • Maintain software and hardware inventory.
  • Compliance with the computer security standards in place at EXFO.

Requirements :
  • Language requirement: Bilingual (French and English) to provide remote and telephone bilingual support to the company's employees in multiple locations in Quebec and North America;
  • Education: Completion of a DEC or DEP in computer science
