COMPANION CARE WORKER
An artsy lady in her 20's with Autism, living in the Hintonburg area. As a caregiver, you will be taking our client out into the community to help her explore new interests and doing arts and crafts or baking together. You will be a friendly but professional companion whom she can talk to and trust.Our client loves baking, arts and crafts, including pottery.

You would be the ideal candidate to work with us if you are someone who has a "G" level driver's license, access to a reliable vehicle, and comfortable with no mask sessions due to client's phobia.

Please Note: The family has requested a caregiver who has received both doses of their COVID-19 vaccine.

HOURS
Three hour shift weekly, on Thursday afternoons or evenings.
Flexible scheduling options are available

RATE OF PAY
$20/hr

Requirements

• Cover letter outlining why you would be a great match for Spark. Tell us who you are!
• Valid First Aid and CPR Standard level C certification
• Smartphone with a data plan
• Criminal Record & Vulnerable Sector Check (within the last 12 months)

Assets

• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team
• University or College education in a related field
• Driver's License "G" class with access to a vehicle

Spark is looking to hire motivated, dedicated, and experienced Support Workers. In this role, you'll be supporting individuals in the community requiring direct care with personal hygiene, meal preparation, organization, and light housekeeping.
