COMPANION CARE WORKER
A music lover in her 20\'s with an intellectual disability, currently living in Kanata. As a companion, you will be engaging with the client in the community. Community outings may include shopping, walking, attending exercise or cooking classes, and going to the movies. Our client loves word searches, dancing, singing, painting, shopping, exercises, and cooking.

You would be the ideal candidate to work with us if you are someone who is fun, enjoys going out in the community, has their "G" level license and access to a reliable vehicle.

HOURS
One 2 hour shift weekly (Potential for more hours as rapport builds)
Flexible scheduling options available

RATE OF PAY
$20/hr

Requirements

• Valid First Aid and CPR Standard level C certification
• Smartphone with a data plan
• Criminal Record & Vulnerable Sector Check (within the last 12 months)

Assets

• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team
• University or College education in a related field
• Driver\'s License \xe2\x80\x9cG\xe2\x80\x9d class with access to a vehicle

Spark is looking to hire motivated, dedicated, and experienced Support Workers. In this role, you\'ll be supporting individuals in the community requiring direct care with personal hygiene, meal preparation, organization, and light housekeeping.
