We are currently looking for the right person to grow our team in the Commercial Sales department as our Commercial Sales Manager. Things you could look forward to:

What you would bring to our team: \xc2\xb7 A university degree in Agriculture with course work in business administration and sales experience. \xc2\xb7 CCA certification (Certified Crop Advisor) and Pag certification (Professional Agrologist) are considered assets. \xc2\xb7 Excellent sales, interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal). \xc2\xb7 Strong organizational, time management, problem solving, conflict resolution, leadership and team building skills. \xc2\xb7 In-depth knowledge of the products offered by Vesey\xe2\x80\x99s and the customers that it serves. \xc2\xb7 Previous supervisory experience in a sales setting. \xc2\xb7 Experience in records management processes and generating a variety of reports. \xc2\xb7 Demonstrated equivalencies will be considered. \xc2\xb7 Ability to work collaboratively and maintain effective partnerships. \xc2\xb7 Ability to plan and think strategically and work independently with minimal supervision. \xc2\xb7 Must be able to provide technical advice, guidance, leadership to staff and peers while researching and resolving issues that arise daily. \xc2\xb7 Experience and knowledge of various computer programs (Microsoft Office Suite -Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc., and other basic office software) is required. \xc2\xb7 Good previous work and attendance record. \xc2\xb7 You would be required as a condition of employment to provide a motor vehicle for the purposes of carrying out employment functions as well as valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license. What you could expect your days to look like at Vesey\xe2\x80\x99s Seeds: \xc2\xb7 Lead a small team in collaboration with other departments to manage the commercial sales division effectively. \xc2\xb7 Price bulk orders and special orders, for new and existing commercial seed customers. \xc2\xb7 Communicate with customers and growers through email, phone, and site visits to address inquiries and provide guidance on suitable products. \xc2\xb7 Identify new sales opportunities, maintain current customer relationships, and expand market share. \xc2\xb7 Provide ongoing customer support and ensure customer satisfaction. \xc2\xb7 Process orders, oversee shipping, and manage invoicing for all commercial seed orders. \xc2\xb7 Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual department reports, including margin analysis. \xc2\xb7 Represent Vesey\xe2\x80\x99s at tradeshows and other corporate events. \xc2\xb7 Perform other tasks as required to support the smooth functioning of the commercial sales department.
