We are looking for a commercial driver/ equipment operator/landscape technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to preparation of each project site, picking up and delivering materials, loading and unloading various pieces of equipment including skid steer and a mini x . Planning the logistics of the movement of material in a efficient manner, completing pre and post operation checks, and perform general maintenance. Assist the crew with installing various types of landscape items such as sod, pavers, shrubbery, fencing, decking, retaining walls etc. The ideal candidate will have recent commercial driving experience, experience with various landscaping tools, and power equipment, proficiency in the operation of tools such as saws, cutters, drills. chain saw, and skid steer operation, be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects, and have a strong work ethic. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience in the landscaping industry.

Responsibilities:

Picking up and delivering materials to various locations. Moving equipment, including loading and unloading from each project Operate various pieces of power equipment and a skid steer and mini x Perform general maintenance of equipment. Assist in all other duties assigned
Ideally candidates must have their own transportation to get to the local job sites and or pick up points . Class G license is required , higher license qualification is a asset, must have a clean driving record, minimum 3 years recent commercial driving experience .

Work hours can be greater than 10 hours in day, and can require weekend work, as this industry is dependent on weather and timely completion of jobs hours can be varied.

Work period could extend to full time permanent.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
