Role Summary:
As a Commercial Restaurant Equipment Repair Technician with Clean Brew Equipment Services Ltd., you will make good use of your problem-solving and technical skills to quickly diagnose and repair equipment, provide preventative maintenance, and install equipment on location. You will be servicing electrical commercial restaurant equipment such as beverage equipment, panini grills, hot holding units, toasters and more. To build strong customer relationships you will need to provide clear and concise communication, confidently explaining the details of the repair and are professional and respectful in all interactions.
Our Admin and back-office teams are here to support you, whether that means rescheduling an appointment or our Service Manager providing you with on-demand support when faced with a difficult issue.
Role Duties & Responsibilities:
Inspect, analyze, diagnose, repair, maintain, and install commercial restaurant equipment.
Replace components and subcomponents and reassemble appliances using hand tools
Provide efficient and courteous service at all customer touchpoints.
Travel to customer sites as noted on your assigned schedule.
Work independently while being part of a close-knit, supportive team.
Communicate proactively -- with clients, office staff, and team members.
Prepare estimates, written reports, detailed service notes of the work performed.
Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle.
Follow all health and safety standards.
Perform other duties as required.
Key Qualifications:
Strong communication and people-skills.
Ability to maintain composure and customer focus while troubleshooting and solving technical issues on location.
Ability to manage your schedule of customer appointments.
Strong technical, electrical, and mechanical skills with excellent diagnostic ability.
Appliance Service Technician Certificate of Qualification (C of Q), or a certificate from an accredited institution (e.g., Kwantlen Polytechnic University, BCIT) in a related field, and 1-3 years experience as an equipment technician or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Have a Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean abstract.
