Your responsibilities
- Act as liaison in maintaining quality customer service and a positive company image by resolving customer account inquiries
- Comply with all rules and regulations established by the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act
- Pinpoint delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. written correspondence, phone contact, skip-tracing, and making arrangements for payment
- Manage inbound and outbound collections calls and correspondence
- Ensure payments are processed
- Catalog all customer payments to the correct reports
- Direct all billing and reporting activities in accordance to deadlines
- Oversee and update customer files to ensure data consistency
- Ensure bankruptcy filings are processed in the correct manner when received
Requirements
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to survey and make decisions regarding customer accounts
- 2-3 years of prior high volume collections experience
- Experience using accounting software
- AA or BS/BA in Accounting preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of Enter Vendor Invoices
