Since 1970, we've served clients across Canada and internationally by building and repairing custom and general production machinery, and by selling, servicing, and repairing all brands of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.

We're currently looking for a

CNC Lathe Machinist

to join our team. Reporting to the CNC Lead Hands, this individual will follow company procedures and best practices to produce high-quality results on time, every time. The ideal candidate will be organized, adaptable, and collaborative, with strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and verify CNC lathe machining operations Use and read all on-site measuring equipment accurately Sharpen drill bits and tool bits; manage tool life and replace inserts as needed Perform basic preventive maintenance on machining centers Keep equipment and workstations clean and organized daily Remove setup tools and return to proper locations at the end of each shift Set up fixtures, clamps, vises, and other tooling required for jobs Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols Meet customer delivery timelines as determined by the supervisor

Applicant Requirements

Strong verbal and written English communication skills Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) Understanding of G- and M-codes and ability to reference manuals for details Ability to call up programs and perform minor program edits Must supply a personal lockable roller tool chest (max 24" deep x 36" wide) stocked with basic required tools (list provided at interview)

Compensation
