Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, blueprint reading, and the use of various precision measuring instruments. The CNC Operator will work closely with engineering and quality control teams to ensure products meet strict specifications and quality standards. Candidates with experience in CNC programming, CAD, CAM, and factory environment are highly preferred. Responsibilities



Set up and operate CNC machinery including CNC milling machines, lathes, stamping presses, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment Program CNC machines using CAD/CAM software and interpret G-code instructions Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications to ensure accurate production Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to minimize downtime Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools to verify part dimensions Handle materials and tooling efficiently, including materials handling with forklifts when necessary Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times during machine operation Collaborate with team members on assembly line processes, fabrication tasks, and packaging operations Maintain accurate documentation of production runs and machine settings for quality assurance purposes

Requirements



Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or stamping presses in a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of CNC programming using Fanuc controls or similar systems Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks for part design and CAM programming for toolpath generation Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings with GD&T specifications Mechanical knowledge related to tooling, fabrication processes, welding, and materials handling Experience with precision measuring instruments including calipers and micrometers for quality control checks Basic math skills necessary for calculations related to machining tolerances and measurements Factory or warehouse experience preferred; familiarity with assembly lines and packaging is advantageous Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently in a manufacturing setting Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), flexo presses, welding techniques, or factory automation is a plus Strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and ability to work independently or as part of a team
