CNC Operator



SMC Automation & Tooling Ltd. is a leading manufacturer of industrial controls, automation and instrumentation in Vaughan, ON. We are looking for a CNC Operator to join our team and help us grow. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC machines, machining centers and other equipment in a manufacturing setting.

Operate CNC machines to perform basic machining and finish operations on parts. Perform finishing operations on parts including grinding, polishing, sanding, etc. Perform basic testing on parts to ensure they meet quality standards. Perform basic troubleshooting on the machine to troubleshoot issues. Record and submit work in a timely manner. Work with other team members to complete tasks as needed. Assist in the setup of new machines and perform basic setup procedures as needed. Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:


High School Diploma or GED required.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must be able to use Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel.
Must have experience operating CNC machines and machining centers.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
