Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and press brake machines. This role requires proficiency in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge to produce high-quality components efficiently. The CNC Operator will work closely with engineering and quality control teams to ensure precision and adherence to specifications, utilizing tools like calipers, hand tools, and CAD software. Experience with Fanuc controls, programmable logic controllers, and SolidWorks is highly desirable. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities



Set up and operate CNC machinery including milling machines, lathes, and press brake equipment Program CNC machines using CAD drawings and G-code instructions Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment Utilize calipers, hand tools, and other measuring devices to ensure dimensional accuracy Conduct quality control checks throughout the machining process Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety standards Assist in the assembly, welding, or packaging of finished parts as needed Operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment when necessary (training provided) Follow safety protocols related to manufacturing environments

Experience



Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines and CNC lathes Familiarity with Fanuc controls and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) Knowledge of CNC programming techniques and CAD software like SolidWorks or similar programs Experience with blueprint reading, mechanical assembly, welding, and machining processes Ability to use calipers, hand tools, and basic math skills for precise measurements Warehouse experience including forklift operation is a plus Background in manufacturing or machining environments preferred Strong understanding of quality control standards within a manufacturing setting
This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong mechanical aptitude who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards. Candidates should possess excellent problem-solving skills and be committed to producing high-quality parts through precise machining techniques.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person
