CNC Milling Machinist
to join our dedicated team.
Position Overview
The CNC Milling Machinist will be responsible for the
setup, programming, and operation
of CNC milling machines to produce precision oilfield components according to engineering and production specifications. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, program, and operate
CNC milling machines
to meet production goals and quality standards.
Read and interpret
blueprints, engineering drawings, and CAD models
to determine machining requirements.
Create and modify CNC programs using
FANUC controls
and
Mastercam (2000/2008)
, including
4th-axis machining
.
Inspect finished parts using
precision measuring tools
such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Perform routine maintenance and ensure machines are operating efficiently.
Maintain a
clean, organized, and safe workspace
in compliance with company policies and safety standards.
Qualifications
Proven experience in
CNC milling operations
, preferably within the
oilfield or heavy industrial sector
.
Proficiency in
Mastercam 2000/2008
programming and
4th-axis machining
.
Experience with
FANUC control systems
.
Ability to read and interpret
technical drawings and CAD documentation
.
Strong understanding of machining principles and safe work practices.
Knowledge of
lathe operations
considered an asset.
